PROLOCKD Text Messaging Program
How people opt in to texts from PROLOCKD members, what they receive and how to stop.
Who sends the texts
PROLOCKD (operated by Kelly Carrillo, Kilo Charlie Media dba PROLOCKD, Dublin, California) is a membership website for business aviation contract crew: cabin attendants and pilots. Each member has a public sign-up page. People who want that member's availability (usually schedulers and flight department managers who book contract crew) can subscribe on that page. Texts are sent only to people who subscribe and choose “Text me.”
What subscribers receive
- One confirmation text right after they subscribe, with the member's open dates and a link to the member's live availability calendar.
- Occasional availability updates from that member, usually a few messages a month. Members send these from their own phone, using a message PROLOCKD fills in for them.
The only promotional texts PROLOCKD sends are NBAA-BACE event alerts for people who opt in to Daily Contests (see the contest rules at prolockd.com/bace/rules). We never buy, rent or share phone numbers.
Sample confirmation text: “PROLOCKD: Hi Sam, it's Jordan Avery. You're subscribed to my availability updates by text. Open next 60 days: Nov 3–7, Nov 12–20. Live calendar: https://prolockd.com/av/… Reply STOP to opt out.”
How people opt in
Opt-in happens on the member's public sign-up page (reached from the member's link or by scanning their QR code). The subscriber enters their name, company, phone and/or email, and chooses how to receive updates. Texts are sent only if they check Text me. The consent statement appears directly under the form. Here's an example of the form (shown for illustration, it doesn't submit):

Each subscription is saved with the date, time and wording the person agreed to.
